Le Littoral is a modern cottage with a breathtaking view of the St. Lawrence River and La Malbaie Bay. Located in Cap-à-l'Aigle, Charlevoix, Quebec, the residence offers an intimate nest to enjoy the beauty of Canadian nature.
The building's contemporary yet familiar design blends seamlessly with the surrounding landscape. Inspired by traditional Canadian farm buildings, the architects deconstructed and reconstructed the property into a modest, but luxurious, dwelling. The choice of natural materials allows it to integrate discreetly into its environment. Thanks to this innovative construction, the project was awarded 2021 Platinum Winner of Grand Prix du Design by Interieurs Magazine.
The chalet was constructed in a special effort to minimise the impact on the land. As a result, the particular axis chosen offers an impressive view of the river and surroundings. A serene feeling reinforced by a choice of minimalist and timeless decoration. Several solid oak Ethnicraft pieces feature, with the Mikado dining table, the Whitebird desk, the N701 sofa and the N3 kitchen counter stool all contributing to the atmosphere.
In the bedrooms, the combination of the Nordic bed, Monolith side tables and EX 1 chairs, create the perfect setting to reset after a day of hiking, or just to spend some quiet time. You can also enjoy the resort amenities for a moment of self-care, including a Spa, a Sauna, and a cosy fireplace.
