Overlooking the Botanical Garden in Europe’s capital, the Belgium-based real estate management firm, Tribeca Partners, is gifted with beautiful views that extend beyond the office walls. This relationship between interior and exterior is intentional; connecting the workplace with the environment in which it is located is essential for Tribeca. | Location : Brussels, Belgium Sector : Workspace Design : Sophie Thielemans |

In the same way, the Brussels firm emphasises the importance of fostering meaningful connections between people and architecture. Olivier le Maire de Warzée, Chief Organisation Officer, elaborates: “We’re really trying to integrate living spaces within workplaces to recreate a real place of life.” Like a pole star, this philosophy has guided Tribeca in creating warm and inviting spaces where teams can feel good and actually want to spend time. |
“ To make people feel at home, we made sure to bring in as many elements into the office as possible to break up the work atmosphere. - Sophie Thielemans, art director |

The challenge was figuring out how to make people feel at home in the office, returning after months of remote work. Some organisations might have a vague idea, but Sophie Thielemans, art director, had a clear vision from the start. She explains: “To make people feel at home, we made sure to bring in as many elements into the office as possible to break up the work atmosphere. Think about plants, art and choosing furniture other than just desks and desk chairs.” |
“ We want to work with partners who share the same DNA. Is there a lasting character over time? Is it timeless as a collection style, not disposable to change every three years? All this is very important for us. — Olivier le Maire de Warzée, COO, Tribeca |
CHOOSING PIECES TO FIT A view inside the Tribeca office, located on the 10th floor of a multistorey building, immediately reveals how this vision has come to fruition. Soft, upholstered furnishings, like the N701 sofa, occupy the waiting area intended for visitors as well as internal teams to do short presentations or retreat for a moment away from work. |
CHARACTER THAT LASTS Lemaire shares: “We want to work with partners who share the same DNA. Is there a lasting character over time? Is it timeless as a collection style, not disposable to change every three years? All this is very important for us.” |
